Are you passionate about fishing and love helping others gear up for their next big catch? We're looking for a friendly, knowledgeable Salesperson to join our team at Gator Jim's Tackle.

About the Role:

As a salesperson in our bait and tackle shop, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers seeking advice on rods, reels, lures, bait, and more. Whether they’re seasoned anglers or weekend hobbyists, you’ll help them find exactly what they need to hit the water with confidence.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist customers with selecting fishing gear and supplies

  • Offer knowledgeable advice on local fishing conditions and tackle recommendations

  • Stock and organize merchandise

  • Operate the register and handle basic transactions

  • Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of fishing gear, tackle, and local fish species

  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented

  • Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic

  • Previous retail or sales experience is a plus, but not required

  • Must be comfortable handling live bait and lifting up to 40 lbs
