Fisher Associates is seeking a motivated Transportation Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in civil engineering, transportation infrastructure, project management, and quality control who are ready to take ownership of projects from concept through completion.

What You'll Do as a Transportation Project Manager

  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of transportation projects.ย 
  • Manage project budgets, scope, schedule, and staffing to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
  • Lead design strategy in collaboration with teams and clients to ensure alignment and seamless delivery.ย 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, permitting requirements, and quality standards.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.ย 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders.ย 
  • Cultivate and strengthen client relationships to support successful project outcomes and repeat business.ย 
  • Oversee project billing, client updates, QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout.
  • Support proposal development, scope definition, and fee estimates for new and existing clients.ย 
  • Mentor and support the development of junior staff.

Requirements

What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Transportation Project Managerย 

  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Master's preferred
  • 7+ years progressive transportation design engineering and project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing transportation projects for highway, bridge or traffic from design through delivery.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs and MicroStation (preferred)
  • Proven success in developing trusted, long-term client relationships
  • Familiarity with PennDOT design standards preferred
  • Deliver high-quality work using critical thinking, sound judgment, and exceptional organizational skills.ย 
  • Proactively own projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth environment.
  • Curious and improvement-minded, embracing feedback and continuously seeking better solutions.ย 

Salary Range $95,000-$130,000
