Are you a passionate angler with a love for the water and a talent for creating unforgettable experiences? Outside Brands is looking for a Fishing Captain to lead guided inshore and nearshore fishing trips around the breathtaking waters of Hilton Head Island!

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Lead half-day and full-day fishing excursions for guests of all ages and experience levels.
  • Navigate and operate company vessels safely in inshore and nearshore waters.
  • Teach fishing techniques (casting, baiting, reeling, etc.) to beginners and experienced anglers alike.
  • Share local knowledge of marine wildlife, conservation, and Beaufort County's unique estuaries, local nature, history & culture.
  • Provide top-tier customer service while ensuring a safe, fun, and memorable experience.
  • Maintain and clean boats, tackle, and gear, ensuring they are always trip-ready.
  • Follow all U.S. Coast Guard and company safety regulations to guarantee guest and crew safety.
  • Participate in a variety of water-based adventures!!


Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

  • USCG Captain’s License (OUPV or higher) REQUIRED
  • Passionate for leading fishing charters or guiding outdoor excursions.
  • Extensive knowledge of inshore and nearshore fishing techniques (live bait, artificial, fly fishing a plus!).
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills – you’ll be engaging with guests the entire trip!
  • A passion for marine conservation and outdoor education.
  • A commitment to safety, customer service, entertainment and teamwork.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round.
