Job description

Must be available on weekends
  • Must be able to make Sushi and Sashimi dishes according to company recipes
  • Must have a great entertaining personality to meet, greet and chat with sushi guests
  • Must be able to follow instructions from our Senior Chief Sushi Chef
  • Must be able to clean fish from whole
  • Must keep working are in a clean, neat and organized manner
  • Must follow all North Carolina Sanitation laws
  • Being Serv Safe Certified would be a Plus
  • Must have knowledge Japanese Culture and Sushi Origins
  • Must be creative in Sushi presentation
  • Must have minimum one full year of sushi making experience
  • Hourly salary can be negotiated for a candidate with more than 6 years of sushi making experience.
  • Open until 9:00 pm Weekdays and 9:30 Weekends. No Late Nights
  • 18% Gratuity automatically included on Parties of 6 or more
  • We are willing to train if you have the aptitude

Next, you’ll choose drinks, starters, sushi, hibachi and more from our extensive menu. All teppanyaki dishes will be made-to-order, and our chefs will prepare your hibachi chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon or scallops, along with rice and a selection of veggies, right in front of your eyes.
Of course, half of the fun is watching our chefs as they expertly chop, dice and cook your meal with the flip of a knife, providing mealtime entertainment your whole table is sure to enjoy!
