What does a successful Sr. Software Engineer within Clover do?
At Clover, a Fiserv company, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Clover's business goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability across the payments space

  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

What you need to have:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development

  • 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring

  • 5+ years of experience in Micro Service design and implementation.

  • 5+ years of experience REST api design

  • 5+ years of experience in handling the large scale Distributed system

  • 4+ years of experience in SQL databases, involving design of tables, optimizing queries

  • 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services

  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies

  • 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience in the financial services industry

Salary Range

$140,000.00 - $210,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
