General Job Summary
The Fiserv System Analyst will possess an understanding of organization's vision and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business groups supported to enhance the company's competitive edge. The Fiserv System Analyst will work with the Fiserv Administrator in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Fiserv applications in use. The position will also collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, and vendors to resolve support issues, questions, can concerns and escalate to the Fiserv Administrator as needed.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
  • Act as the primary internal Fiserv support position for the Fiserv Administrator on the Fiserv banking platform at University Bank
  • Assist in the maintenance of configuration settings on the Fiserv banking platform, including but not limited to:
  • Job role and security settings
  • Business workflow automation
  • Reporting functions (scheduled and ad-hoc)
  • Integration of Fiserv with other business platforms
  • Documentation of compliance with established controls
  • Maintain and update procedures and documentation related to the Fiserv platform
  • Work with Fiserv Administrator to analyze and document business requirements
  • Collect and evaluates data and information from multiple sources, resolves conflicts and differentiate between perceived and required user needs
  • Assist with the maintenance of business & functional requirements documentation
  • Assist with writing text and graphical use cases detailing business and system process flows / data flows
  • Participate in discovery sessions with business units and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve support and functionality within the Fiserv platform
  • Provides feedback to management on assumptions, issues, and risks providing mitigation solutions as needed
  • Assist in implementing improvements to business process workflow utilizing the Fiserv platform to the greatest extent possible
  • Track and report on all Fiserv related support tickets on the internal University Bank and the Fiserv ticketing systems
  • Manage ticket escalations between the bank representative and the Fiserv ticket holder
  • Support ticket coordination to ensure that Fiserv is providing sufficient updates on open projects and escalate as appropriate to management
  • Assist with the review of Fiserv bulletins and updates to ensure that required actions are communicated to management
  • Assist with quality control and system testing activities
  • Act as a technical and operational support point for all tickets related to the Fiserv platform
  • Adhere to quality standards ensuring configuration changes are implemented following established change control procedures

Requirements
Education, Training and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years' experience working with Fiserv core banking platforms required
  • Experience with Fiserv Premier or Fiserv Precision strongly preferred
  • Experience with Fiserv Director (Hyland OnBase), IBM Cognos (Fiserv Business Analytics) strongly preferred
  • 3+ years working within a Bank / Financial services company required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Implement defined requirement for:
  • Business workflow automation
  • Reporting functions (IBM Cognos, Power BI preferred)
  • Integration of Fiserv with other business platforms (Create/Configure Digital, Deposit Director Flex preferred)
  • Experience providing technical and business support on Fiserv platforms to employees
  • Demonstrated ability to work positively and professionally with Fiserv support, bank employees, and third-party resources as needed to resolve problems and/or enhance Fiserv capabilities
  • Maintain & foster positive relationships with management and business partners
  • Able to make proactive recommendations
  • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner
  • Provide professional communication in both oral & written expressions
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to seek out and offer business-oriented solutions
  • Proactively seeks feedback on performance and makes changes accordingly
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Working Environment
Primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space and/or a private home office or some combination which will be at managements sole discretion. Employee may be subject to fluorescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee may work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • May be exposed to extended periods of interaction with others (listening/talking/taking notes)
  • Extended periods of sitting (at computer desk)
  • Complete repetitive tasks (including operation of computer mouse/keyboard)
