Job description

Material Handler 1st Shift | Utilimaster | Bristol, IN (Main)

Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $22.00 - 22.00

What you'll do:

  • Order, fill, kit, stock, load, and inspect materials accurately while maintaining inventory record accuracy through transfers and cycle counts
  • Transport materials using appropriate equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.) and organize/line set materials according to operations schedule
  • Identify damaged materials and shortages, communicate issues, and follow proper handling procedures
  • Assist with physical inventory, quality improvement efforts, and operator assistance with heavy objects
  • Maintain safety standards, good housekeeping practices, and complete required administrative tasks

What you need to be successful:

  • High school diploma/GED with 1-2 years related experience and valid forklift license
  • Physical ability to lift 40+ pounds, climb 20-foot ladders, and willingness to work overtime on short notice
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, barcode scanners, and familiarity with line set practices
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
