Starting Wage: $20.00 - $25.00 p/h (depending on experience, qualifications)
Job Summary:
Assists Electrician with installing and maintaining electrical wiring, handles tools, and cleans job sites. Assists in smaller jobs and handles smaller jobs on their own.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Determines the correct tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete job
  • Assists with preparing cost estimates for clients
  • Helps Electrician to ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes
  • Cleans job site after work is completed
  • Answers client queries
  • Follows Electrician's instructions
  • Learns and understands all applicable building and electrical codes
  • Maintains trainee card and completes required continuing education classes before license expiration
  • Regular, prompt, on-site attendance essential for physically installing equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years hands on experience in the Electrical field/trade - OR - 1 year Electrical experience AND 1 year general experience in construction or related trades
  • Operational familiarity with use of hand/power tools used in the Electrical trades.
  • Proficiency in basic math and conversion of measurements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid WA State Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Valid Electrician Trainee card for WA

Physical Requirements:
  • Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting, and carrying.
  • Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, around gas lines, around fumes and toxic chemicals, indoors and outdoors
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times.
