Part-Time Van Driver - Beaverton Post Acute

Beaverton Post Acute of Cascadia is looking for a friendly, reliable part-time van driver with Medical Transport Experience to join our team! This role is essential in creating a welcoming first impression for our residents and their families.

Position Overview

As our van driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting new admissions to our facility while providing a warm, professional, and compassionate experience from the moment they arrive.

Schedule
  • Part-time (hours may vary based on admissions and transportation needs)
Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up new admissions from hospitals or other designated locations
  • Safely transport residents to Beaverton Post Acute
  • Ensure a smooth, comfortable, and welcoming experience during transit
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the facility van
  • Communicate effectively with admissions and nursing teams regarding arrival times
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols
? Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous driving or transport experience preferred (healthcare experience a plus)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and compassionate demeanor
  • Ability to assist passengers in and out of the vehicle, if needed

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.ย 


Licenses/Certification

Valid driver's license required.

Current CPR certification required.


Experience

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Previous experience as a courtesy driver preferred
