Job Title:                Bus Aide
Reports To:            Director of Transportation
FLSA Status:          Nonexempt - At-Will Position
Position Status:     Part Time Position
Salary:                   $15.15 - $17.50 hrly
 






SUMMARY
Assists bus driver on buses by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists students entering and leaving school bus
Assists driver with monitoring discipline problems
May assist and escort children to and from school bus or other district vehicle as needed
Assists driver in checking bus after each run for remaining students and items left on board
Has a working knowledge of each student's mental and physical capabilities
Uses applicable restraint systems as determined through student IEP and consistent with safe transportation practices
May assist with interior sanitation of school bus or other district vehicle
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must obtain Infant/Child/Adult First Aid & CPR certification.
Must possess valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to hiring.
