Job description

First Steps Nursing and Therapy is seeking compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in the home setting near 78244.Case Details
  • Patient: 9 year old male

  • Care Needs: G-tube, Seizures

  • Schedule: Saturday 730a-330p, Wed - Fri 7a-5p

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, hands-on care to assigned patient

  • Assess patient condition during each visit and document observations

  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies

  • Monitor and manage G-tube and respiratory needs

  • Perform vital signs and ongoing assessments

  • Communicate changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician

  • Educate and support family members and caregivers

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in EMR system (Kantime)

Requirements
  • Active Texas RN or LVN license (unencumbered)

  • Current CPR certification

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, transfers)

  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required

  • Training provided (in-office and on-site)
