Job Title: Material Movement Specialist II - Forklift Operator 2nd Shift
Division: Professional Products

What You Will Do:
  • Replenishment of pick areas, manual order processing, shipment preparation, pallet building. All functions may require the use of powered industrial equipment, RF scanners, or hand-held equipment, as needed, and computer systems, including labor management systems.
  • Perform on-site and off-site warehousing duties, including the movement of materials to appropriate locations, effective space utilization, using powered industrial equipment as needed.
  • Perform order fulfillment duties, including reviewing and prioritizing available orders, physically picking and packing orders, preparing completed orders for shipping, using SAP and RF as needed.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are consistently followed.
  • Perform sortation duties, including lifting cartons at sortation, palletizing cartons, printing pallet tickets, moving freight to the dock, using Manhattan and RF as needed.

Required experience/training:
  • Distribution/Fulfillment/Warehouse experience
  • Must be able to obtain L'Oréal Forklift certification, which includes a written permit test and hands-on assessment
  • Proficient in written English
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team, supervisor, and all departments
  • General computer knowledge (Manhattan experience a plus)
  • Ability to follow direction with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, as needed

Preferred experience:
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Order Picking
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED

Working conditions:
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs., bend, twist, and stand
  • 8-hour standard working day, M - F (Varies depending on customer demand)
  • Overtime can be expected during peak seasons based on business needs plus working weekends
  • Personal protective equipment required including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes and vest; other equipment provided dependent upon role
  • Close to moderate supervision required for this position
  • Able to bend, twist and lift up to 38lbs using proper lifting techniques
