Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive and respectful environment. The primary responsibilities of the LPN Charge Nurse include, but are not limited to administering medications as prescribed, documenting resident interactions, observing changes in health, wound care, assisting with admissions and discharges, supervising C.N.A's and ensuring the residents needs are met while always respecting and promoting each resident's rights and always maintaining a clean and safe home-like environment.

Part Time (every other weekend) - 1st Shift 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Memory Support Neighborhood

Pay Range: $24.00 - $36.00/hour

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed practical nurse.
  • Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed through the Virginia Board of Nursing.
  • Supervisory skills required; experience preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred or ability to learn.
  • CPR certified or ability to obtain.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain its integrity.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in stressful environment and deal with medical emergency situations.
  • Strong customer service skills; maintain a hospitality approach to engaging with all individuals.
