Key Responsibilities
Maintains the cleanliness of the hotel's linen supply
  • Sorts laundry prior to washing
  • Pulls damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading the washing
  • Loads washers and dryers to recommended weights
  • Follows proper settings and procedures for all equipment
  • Monitors usage of water to maximize consumption
  • Informs supervisor of any equipment failures or supply shortage
  • Presses and folds linens and uniforms properly according to garment labels, stacks or stores and required
  • Completes inventory of stock as requested
  • Ensures the rotation with the team members regarding the machines, folding and removing and placing linen in the machine or on carts.

Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
  • Maintains knowledge of and complies with all department policies and Covid protocols
  • Maintains cleanliness of laundry room and equipment
  • Works the required schedule which cab be varied based on business demand
  • Uses equipment and chemicals in accordance with hotel's safety procedures
  • Adheres to all health, sanitation and safety rules and procedures

Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
  • Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
  • Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problems

Requirements/Skills

Physical Demands
  • Required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of times

  • Use of manual dexterity of common office equipment; such as but not limited to, computers, printers, phones ect.

Other Information
The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times.
