As a Cummins First Officer, you will help safely and efficiently transport company leaders, employees, and guests in support of Cummins' global business operations. You will work closely with the Captain and the broader Aviation team to ensure each mission is completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with all regulatory and company requirements.

This position offers the resources and stability of a Fortune 500 company combined with the teamwork, camaraderie, and influence of a close-knit corporate flight department.

How You Will Make an Impact

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance by following applicable aviation regulations, company policies, standard operating procedures, and aircraft limitations.

  • Support sound operational decision-making by evaluating weather, routing, airport conditions, aircraft performance, and other factors affecting each flight.

  • Ensure mission readiness by reviewing flight plans, fuel requirements, weight-and-balance calculations, aircraft performance data, airport information, and applicable checklists.

  • Monitor changing conditions throughout each mission and assist with timely, well-informed operational adjustments.

  • Contribute beyond the flight deck by supporting safety programs, hiring initiatives, committees, special projects, and continuous-improvement efforts across the Aviation department.

Why Join Cummins Aviation?

  • A close-knit team in which pilots contribute beyond their flying responsibilities

  • Direct support of senior leadership and critical business operations

  • Access to the benefits, resources, and career opportunities of a global Fortune 500 company

  • A department that values sound judgment, teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement

The Cummins Aviation team combines the professionalism and resources of a major global corporation with the camaraderie and influence of a relatively small flight department—an uncommon and rewarding combination in corporate aviation.
