POSITION TITLE:  Student Ambassador Coordinator

CLASSIFICATION:  Classification "IV" per Schedule A of the collective agreement

RATE OF PAY:  $42.14 / hourly 
                          $6,390.66 / monthly
DEPARTMENT:  Enrolment Management - Recruitment

HOURS OF WORK:  Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The Student Ambassador Coordinator supports and monitors Student Ambassadors and Student Volunteers, ensuring that the 'student voice' is present across recruitment activities.
The Coordinator will coordinate and monitor Student Recruitment Ambassadors and volunteers as they welcome/host campus visitors and conduct programming; support campus events (virtual and in-person); conduct call campaigns; and provide student-to-student communications via blogs, chat and using a CRM tool. 
     
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 
The successful candidate will have:
    Two (2) years of experience learning and/or working in a university environment, which includes one year of experience coordinating activities of student staff/volunteers, preferably in a post-secondary environment
    Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage audiences in face-to-face and virtual environments
    Demonstrated relationship management and customer service skills
    Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple priorities and projects, with accuracy and timeliness
    Demonstrated understanding of effective campus visitor and engagement practices and resources featuring 'the student voice'
    Ability to work a flexible work schedule as needed, including regular Saturday tours
    Familiarity with customer relationship management systems (CRM), and maintaining Knowledge- based article systems
    Experience and familiarity with campus life, academic programs & admissions information, services and resources to support students.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs and online engagement platforms such as Zoom, Go2 Webinar, and social media platforms
    Evidence of commitment to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion, including experience working effectively with diverse student, staff, and/or faculty populations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
    Fluency in a second language, preferably French
