Your opportunity:
As Program Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting undergraduate academic programs and student success at University College. Working closely with students, faculty and staff, you will provide academic program information and guidance, coordinate program administration, support admissions and student services processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of programs, events and initiatives.
This position is well suited to a collaborative professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service and helping students navigate their academic journey.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advise students on academic program and course requirements, University policies, procedures and deadlines, and provide referrals where appropriate
  • Coordinate admissions and program administration activities, including reviewing applications, checking program requirements and supporting related processes.
  • Analyze service delivery and internal processes and recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency and the student experience.
  • Generating reports, maintain databases and records, and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of student and program information.
  • Coordinate program schedules, meetings and communications, and support committees through the preparation of agendas, materials and meeting minutes.
  • Conceptualize, organize and deliver program activities, workshops, events and recruitment initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners that procedures and/or guidelines are followed
  • Maintain program information across digital platforms and assist in the preparation of communications and promotional materials.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years'experience supporting undergraduate academic programs and providing advice and guidance to undergraduate students, faculty and staff.
  • Experience coordinating academic or student programs, admissions processes and program administration.
  • Experience advising students on academic requirements and interpreting University policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Experience preparing reports, maintaining databases and analyzing information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience conceptualizing, organizing and delivering events, workshops and recruitment activities.
  • Experience working with student information systems, such as ROSI, Degree Explorer or equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent client service and building positive relationships with students, faculty and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
