We're seeking aSenior Manager - Technical Accounting & Transaction Advisoryto join ourAccounting Advisory Servicesteam. Thishybrid positioncan be based in anyDLA office - Fairfield, NJ; NYC; Boston; Chicago; or Dallas.

You'll lead high-impacttechnical accounting,M&A, andtransaction advisoryprojects, guiding clients through complex accounting challenges and IPO readiness initiatives while mentoring high-performing teams and contributing to a growing national advisory practice.

What You'll Do

You'll lead engagements that help clients tackle technical accounting challenges and transaction-related events. Your day-to-day may include:

  • Leadingclient engagementsfocused ontechnical accounting,transaction accounting, andfinancial reporting
  • Advising clients on complex areas such asrevenue recognition (ASC 606),lease accounting (ASC 842),business combinations (ASC 805), andstock-based compensation (ASC 718)
  • Performingtransaction accounting analysesincludingquality of earnings (QoE),carve-outs, andfinancial due diligencefor acquisitions and divestitures
  • Guiding clients throughIPO readiness,accounting policy documentation,technical memos, andinternal control assessments
  • Overseeing preparation and review oftechnical accounting memos,financial statements, anddisclosuresunderUS GAAPandSEC reportingrequirements
  • Supporting clients throughaudit readinessand direct communication withexternal auditors
  • Identifying opportunities to enhancefinancial reporting processes, automate workflows, and improvereporting scalability
  • Leading project planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure engagement profitability and client satisfaction
  • Coaching and developingManagers and Seniorswhile contributing to DLA's collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Partnering with Directors and Partners onbusiness development,client expansion, andthought leadershipinitiatives

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA required
  • 8+ years of progressive experienceinaccounting advisory,technical accounting, ortransaction advisory, ideally withinpublic accounting or consulting
