Description:

First Federal Savings is looking for an Experienced Floating Teller to provide support across our branch locations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong teller background who is confident stepping into different branches, working with different teams, and providing consistent, knowledgeable service wherever they are needed across 2 branches in a small manageable geographic region.


We’re looking for someone who already knows the teller role well and can bring experience, flexibility, and dependability to each branch they support.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide friendly, professional service to customers across multiple branch locations.
  • Process customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and other teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash, checks, and other financial instruments while following established procedures and controls.
  • Balance daily transactions and cash totals accurately.
  • Assist customers with account needs, including new accounts and account maintenance.
  • Process money orders, treasurer checks, stop payments, and other teller functions.
  • Assist with vault responsibilities, including receiving and disbursing cash, balancing, and supporting cash and ATM orders as needed.
  • Recognize customer needs and make appropriate referrals to other members of the Bank team.
  • Provide branch coverage during vacations, staffing shortages, high-volume periods, and other operational needs.
  • Adapt quickly to the workflow and needs of each branch while maintaining consistent First Federal service standards.


Requirements:

What We’re Looking For


This position requires previous teller or retail banking experience. Because our Experienced Floating Teller will regularly step into different branch environments, we’re looking for someone who can work confidently and independently with minimal training or direction.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong previous bank teller or retail banking experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of teller transactions, cash handling, and balancing.
  • Experience assisting customers with account needs and banking services.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently while also becoming part of different branch teams.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with common banking technology, including online banking, mobile applications, remote deposit capture, and ATMs.
  • A high level of dependability, professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • The flexibility and reliability to work at different First Federal Savings branch locations based on business needs.
