Job description

Utah First Credit Union is looking for a full time Personal Banker. This position will be based at our corporate office in St. George.
DESCRIPTION: Utah First Credit Union is looking for a Personal Banker to carry forth its mission to be Significant in the lives of its members, employees, and their communities. The central role of this position is to improve our members' financial lives by cross selling our products and services and producing loans. The perfect candidate has strong lending skills and experience and a keen ability to build relationships and make peoples' lives better. Ideal candidates are comfortable managing lots of different things at once, and working effectively with a little or a lot of direction.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Process telephone and online consumer loan applications.
  • Counsel with members regarding their financial needs and goals and find the products and services to meet those requirements.
  • Build relationships, educate customers about products/services and find appropriate solutions.
  • Cross sell credit union products and services. We provide generous sales incentives and attainable goals.
  • Participate in individual and credit union training.

Qualifications:
  • Strong lending skills and experience, proven record of production.
  • Creative lending skills, willing and able to find a way to do the deal.
  • Extra mile customer service and sales skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma.
  • 18-years and older.
  • Works well individually and with a team.
