GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the AC&T-Aviation- Cons & Trans department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
InstructionalDevelopment: Assist the department head with new course development andcurriculumchanges; develops andmaintains course documentation; reviews and selects textbooks for courses insubject areas; maintainsaudio-visual and other materials for courses taught; is organized and well prepared for class;schedules class and lab time effectively.
Teaching Performance: Usecurrent LMS, provide students with course syllabus, grading, and attendancepolicies, and other relevant information the first day of class; relateinstructional materials, discussions, and other course activities to courseobjectives; demonstrate effective interaction skills; utilize a variety of teachingmethods including technology; use practical examples and illustrations; pacethe instruction
over the term; providestudents with timely tests; return test results in a timely manner; relatetests to
course objectives;follow department and college grading policies.
Student Advisement:Maintain required office hours; publicize office hours and availability; referstudents to persons for appropriate assistance; maintain appropriate recordsaccording to State, Federal, and college regulations, meet with students in atimely manner.
Recruiting: Assist with recruitment as required; assist withjob/transfer placement or recommendations as required; cooperate with orparticipate in projects/activities of other instructional and support areas infulfillment of the college's mission; serve effectively on college/communitycommittees/teams; support continuing education efforts of the college.
Additional duties tosupport program success, as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
An FAA Airframe andPowerplant certificate, an associate degree, and four years' work experience inAirframe and/or PowerPlant related areas; mostrecent work experience must meet the requirements listed in FAR 65-83.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field or an Associate degree in aircraft maintenance technology or a related field and demonstrated competencies in aircraft maintenance and an FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate.,four years' work experience in Airframe and PowerPlant related areas, and electrical and/or avionics; most recent work experience must meet the requirements listed in FAR 65-83. Graduate of a FAA approved Part 147 aviation maintenance technical school.
