MANUAL MACHINIST – Up to $36.00 / Hour & Full Benefit Package

Vi-TECH is actively looking for 1st Class Manual Machinists for 1st and 2nd shifts.

Vi-TECH provides a wide variety of services for the industrial equipment repair industry and our Manual Machinists are required to have broad knowledge & experience in the precision machining trade.

Technical Skills:

  • Capable to setup and operate a variety of machine tools, including horizontal lathes, vertical lathes, boring mills, vertical mills, keyseaters and other misc. equipment
  • Enjoys the challenge of developing unique setups as necessary to produce ultra-low quantities of precision machined components
  • Has the ability work from formal drawings or simple dimensional sketches of parts
  • Has experience working with a variety of materials (ie, carbon steel, iron, stainless steel, bronze, high-temp alloys, plastics, ect.)
  • Can operate general shop equipment, including forklifts & overhead cranes

Other Requirements:

  • Own precision tools & basic hand tools
  • Successfully pass physical exam, drug screen, & background check
