Job description

Entry Level $38.31
Day Shift Schedule, with exception during Harvest

The Ag Repairman ensures the proper installation, modification and maintenance of all beet receiving facilities including truck scale, pilers, loaders, support equipment and the fabrication of components for inventory use. This position also provides a leadership component in the Company's safety programs and safety training.
Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to:
  • Must be able to plan details of jobs without direct supervision.
  • Safely operates pay loader, skidsteer loader and sugarbeet piler.
  • Create Work orders using the Company's computerized maintenance management system including estimating time and material requirements.
  • Verifies stock status on parts required in maintenance activities.
  • Uses troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques in resolving issues.

Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or a GED certificate is required.
  • Individuals are required to take a Mechanical Aptitude Test, a Basic Skills Test, and a Welding test to verify basic skills and knowledge.
  • A current and satisfactory DOT physical examination certification (DOT health card) is required. Must be able to recertify health card. Must meet all DOT requirements, including random drug testing.
  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively.
  • Class A or B drivers License with a CDL obtained within 45days of employment.

Compensation Range:
$38.31 - $38.31 /hr
