Job description

Mt Juliet Christian Academy, as a ministry of First Baptist Church Mt Juliet, has outlined the following responsibilities for this role:

Student supervision:ย Actively monitor students during before and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and appropriate behavior in various settings.

Behavior management:ย Address disruptive behavior promptly and consistently, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to maintain a positive group dynamic.

Check-in/check-out procedures:ย Ensure proper student sign-in and sign-out processes at the beginning and end of each after-school session.

Communication with parents: Regularly update parents on their child's progress, address concerns, and maintain open lines of communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills:Ability to build positive relationships with children of diverse backgrounds, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Effective communication:Clear and concise communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organizational skills:Efficiently manage multiple tasks and maintain a structured program schedule.
