Endovascular Surgical First Assistant

The posted compensation range of $32.30 - $48.05 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Endovascular First Assistant

Part Time Days

As our Endovascular Certified Surgical First Assistant, you will be a vital member of our perioperative team, playing a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work in direct collaboration with surgeons and the broader clinical staff to ensure seamless surgical procedures, focusing on patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes throughout the entire intra-operative experience.

Every day you will provide expert technical assistance to the surgeon, ensuring the operating room is meticulously prepared for each specific procedure. Your daily responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning, performing sterile skin prep and draping, and maintaining clear, continuous communication with the surgical team regarding the patient's status and any changes in their condition during the pre-, intra-, and immediate post-operative phases.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of sterile technique, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who excels in team-based settings, demonstrates exceptional attention to patient safety protocols, and maintains a proactive approach to supporting surgical workflows and management-directed initiatives.
