Davis Tool, Inc. located in Hillsboro, Oregon, is an established manufacturer supporting the Semi-Conductor, Aerospace, Medical, and Other Industries by offering advanced technology manufacturing 24 hours per day. Our quality, customer service and on-time delivery are second to none. At this time we have immediate openings for Inspectors to verify machined and formed parts. The ideal candidates will have machining or sheet metal experience and be able to interpret drawings, customer specifications, and other documents related the manufacturing of product.
Monday - Friday work week:
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Grave Shift: 11:30 PM - 7:12 AM (15.3% Shift Differential)

Daily Tasks Include:
  • Verifying quality of a variety of manufactured parts including machined, formed, and assembled.
  • Using standard inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, gage pins, height gages, bore gages, etc.
  • Verifying all processing has been completed as planned.
  • Performing documented First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
  • Verifying cosmetic conformance to customer specifications.
  • Communicate with other departments to address concerns

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Higher level computer skills and math skills
  • At least 3 years experience inspecting machined or formed parts.
  • Machining experience and or Precision sheet metal experience a plus.
  • Assembly experience as related to Aerospace / Semiconductor fields a plus.
  • Good attendance and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
