Quality Assurance Inspector

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for precision? Do you enjoy working with aerospace and high-precision machined components? If so, we want you on our team!

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Bench Inspector to perform detailed inspections and ensure parts meet exact engineering and customer requirements. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measuring tools will directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Perform dimensional inspections using surface plates, micrometers, gage blocks, height gages, optical comparators, and more

  • Apply GD&T principles to interpret complex blueprints and verify part features

  • Conduct first article, in-process, receiving, and final inspections

  • Prepare and compile AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)

  • Inspect parts from outside processes (heat treat, plating, coating, NDT, etc.)

  • Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and accurate

  • Document nonconformances and collaborate with engineering and production teams

  • Support internal and customer audits as well as government source inspections

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of bench/plate inspection experience (required)

  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation

  • Experience with CMM inspection (preferred)

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills and commitment to quality
