Mechanical Quality Control Inspector

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Overtime available)

Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect precision components, interpret engineering drawings, perform first article inspections, and work closely with production to maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.

What You'll Do

  • Perform mechanical inspections using precision measuring equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.
  • Conduct first article and in-process inspections to verify product conformance.
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain inspection records, traceability, and quality documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement and statistical process control (SPC) activities.
  • Collaborate with production to ensure quality standards are consistently met.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or trade school preferred).
  • 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
