Core Responsibilities of the CMM Operator:
  • Develop, modify, validate, and maintain CMM programs for production and first article inspections.
  • Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS Software (Must know)
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Apply advanced GD&T principles in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
  • Support First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102.
  • Troubleshoot dimensional issues and support root cause investigations.
  • Develop inspection methods and optimize measurement strategies to improve throughput and repeatability.
  • Assist with gauge validation and measurement system studies.
  • Provide technical support and training for inspectors and manufacturing personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality requirements.

Qualifications for the CMM Operator:
  • Minimum five (5) years of CMM Programming experience
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience interpreting complex GD&T requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Advanced knowledge of PC-DMIS software
  • Experience with:
