Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 19:15). Variable shift start times may include 7am, 9am, 11am, or 3pm. Weekend coverage per unit needs. Call required. Float to sister facilities as needed. 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours of orientation.

Highlights:
  • Acute care Trauma Level I facility with 8 operating rooms and daily census of 25
  • Diverse surgical specialties including Orthopedics (total joints and trauma), Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, General, GU, and GYN procedures
  • Advanced technology including daVinci Xi Surgical System, Stealth Navigation Station, microscope, and laparoscopic equipment
  • Professional dress code: scrubs or business casual
  • Comprehensive 40-hour orientation program with specialty-specific training modules
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off considered during contract period
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of surgical tech experience required; 5 years preferred
  • Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Trauma Level I experience is a critical requirement
  • Extensive experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, and Trauma procedures required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) and NBSTSA certification strongly preferred
  • California state license preferred; compact license must be in hand at submission
  • Proficiency with case cart, crash cart, and scrubbing required
  • Experience with craniotomy and airway management preferred
  • Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Willingness to float to nearby sister facilities as required
  • Flexibility to cover occasional night shifts as needed
  • Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
