Job Description Summary
Provide basic first-aid emergency medical response for special events. Attend mandatory skills training.
Responsibilities
Respond to emergency medical aid during special events, treat and triage medical injuries and illnesses, communicate with Public Safety via radio, report patient assessment to higher level of care Orange Fire Department. Maintain emergency medical equipment and supplies as necessary each shift. Assist with tabling and education events.
Required Qualifications
Must be certified and capable of handling: emergency action planning; CPR; choking, hemorrhaging, and shock; emergency transport; open wounds; universal precautions; environmental injury/illness; and anaphylaxis and asthma attacks.
Desired Qualifications
Experience or certification as an EMT, Lifeguard, Medical Assistant, CNA, or other healthcare experience.
