Job description

Neighborhood preschool is seeking an enthusiastic classroom helper to work in our 4 year-old program. Candidates will possess a high school diploma/GED (or higher) and experience working in childcare or a classroom setting. Preferred qualifications: CPR and First Aid Certification. Experience working in a play-based environment. Responsibilities include providing a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for the children. Assisting the teachers with implementing an age-appropriate curriculum. Interacting with and supervising individual and groups of children. Be prepared to substitute in the absence of a teacher. Maintain current First Aid/CPR Certification. Hours are 8:30am-12:30 Monday to Friday. Our school year runs from September through June.
