Being certified can also open doors to advancement opportunities, as employers value staff who contribute to a safe work environment.

First Aid and CPR Certification refers to official training and recognition that an individual has learned the essential skills to provide immediate care in medical emergencies, such as injuries, choking, heart attacks, or cardiac arrest. The certification is usually achieved by attending a course, either in-person or online, and successfully passing both written and hands-on practical exams. These certifications are commonly required for healthcare professionals, teachers, childcare workers, and lifeguards, but are valuable for anyone who wants to be prepared to help others in emergencies. Typically, certifications need to be renewed every two years to ensure skills and knowledge remain current.
