Overview
JOB SUMMARY: The HR Generalist, reporting to the Director of Human Resources, supports the administration of hospital personnel policies and procedures. The primary responsibilities include managing full-cycle talent acquisition, which encompasses end-to-end recruitment, new hire onboarding (offer letters and orientations), and ensuring all hiring practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws. Additionally, this role oversees and administers employee health benefits programs, including 401(k), manages the annual open enrollment, maintains accurate HRIS data, generates management reports and supports daily HR operations.
This is an onsite (not remote) position located in Monterey Park, California.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
  1. 3-5 years experience as HR Generalist in an acute care hospital in both talent acquisition/recruitment and benefits administration.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  3. Knowledgeable Google software, ICIMS Recruiting Software, First Advantage Identity software preferred.
  4. Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems.
  5. Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
