Hire type – Fulltime Position

Job Description:

The Firmware Test Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test scripts that validate SSD firmware features and system behavior across a variety of platforms. Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and debug automated test scripts for SSD firmware based on design specifications and feature requirements.

Develop and maintain grey-box, black-box, and white-box tests to validate firmware features, FTI/back-end algorithms, and cross-feature interactions under realistic workloads and stress conditions.

Execute functional. reliability, performance and protocol-level validation, analyze results, and work with firmware engineers to root-cause and resolve issues.

Own end-to-end test development lifecycle in JIRA, including test development stories, integration tasks, and defect tracking, ensuring clean linkage between requirements, tests, and bugs.

Collaborate with global validation teams to align coverage, reduce overlaps, and support customer-facing and system-level validation scenarios.
