Job description

We're looking for a skilled and energetic Fireplace Installer to help homeowners create the perfect setting with top-quality fireplace installations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working with your hands, this is the job for you!

Key responsibilities:

  • Cleanliness of vehicles
  • Jobsite clean-up after completion of installation.
  • Installing products to manufacturer specifications.
  • Following state code enforcement
  • Proper care and use of tools
  • Submitting installing photos to the supervisor.
  • Completely provided educational training is needed.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards.
  • Retain DOT Medical Examination Card.
  • Report installation and final setbacks to the supervisor
  • Complete labor detail sheets weekly.
  • Complete a ladder check daily or monthly.
  • Safely and securely load material and tools.

Role Requirements:

  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of installing or repairing gas, wood-burning, or pellet fireplaces is a plus
  • Experience in finish Carpentry or residential construction is helpful and preferred

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this Fireplace Installer position include performing essential job functions that may require lifting and carrying materials and tools up to approximately 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in various indoor and outdoor environments; operating hand and power tools safely; driving a company vehicle; and completing tasks that involve reaching, handling, and positioning fireplace components. These activities are performed with or without reasonable accommodation, and individuals are encouraged to request accommodations if needed to successfully perform the essential duties of the role.
