Position Summary

Start building a skilled-trade career through paid, hands-on HVAC training. As an HVAC Apprentice / Helper, you will work alongside experienced technicians and installers, develop practical field skills, and help deliver a professional customer experience. No HVAC school or previous HVAC experience is required; we can teach the trade to someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

Assist experienced HVAC technicians and installers with maintenance, service, repair, and installation work

Learn HVAC systems, tools, safety practices, and company processes through hands-on training

Follow instructions, schedules, PPE requirements, safety procedures, and company policies

Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and suppliers

Protect customers' homes and maintain a clean, professional appearance while working in high-end residences

Use a smartphone for GPS, timekeeping, job photos, and work-related communication

Load, unload, stage, and organize tools, equipment, and materials safely and accurately

Keep assigned company vehicles, work areas, tools, and materials clean, safe, and organized

Pick up and deliver parts, tools, equipment, and materials between the shop, suppliers, and customer job sites

Confirm that the correct items are picked up and delivered and maintain required receipts, photos, and documentation

Strong attendance, punctuality, reliability, and follow-through

Consistent attention to detail, sound judgment, and willingness to learn

Professional communication and appearance in customers' homes

Technicians and installers receive dependable support throughout the workday

Work documentation, timekeeping, receipts, and job photos are complete and accurate

Company vehicles, work areas, tools, and materials remain clean, safe, and organized

Continued development of HVAC knowledge, mechanical ability, and field skills

Required Qualifications

At least 21 years of age due to commercial auto insurance requirements

Valid Florida driver's license with a driving record acceptable under company and commercial auto insurance requirements

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English for safety, customer service, and work instructions

Mechanical aptitude and comfort using or learning to use hand tools

Dependable, punctual, presentable, and able to follow instructions

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment

Comfort speaking with customers and using a smartphone for work

Reliable transportation to and from Oakland Park, Florida 33334

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of HVAC helper work

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Must pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience using hand tools or performing mechanical work

Previous warehouse, delivery, construction, maintenance, or field-support experience
