Scope of Position

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our team at Arizona Fireplaces. We need an ambitious and hardworking individual who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions, and double-check his or her work before completing a task. We have a fun work environment and we are looking to add an employee who is searching for a career, not just a job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Use diagnostic tools to diagnose and repair fireplace components to resolve operating issues according to manufacturer’s specifications (including but not limited to ignition systems, gas pressures, venting, mechanical and house pressure).

· Initiate fireplace start ups and perform homeowner orientations.

· Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers to ensure services are completed and meet quality standards.

· Servicing of Fireplaces, Fire Features, and Grills.

· Follow all company safety standards and procedures

· Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.

· Knowledge of volt meter usage

· Knowledge of monometer usage (we are willing to train)

· Gas plumbing and AZ service experience a plus

Expectations and Experience

· Highschool diploma or equivalent required

· Must have experience working with hand and power tools, be mechanically inclined, and possess excellent customer service skills. Experience in construction, HVAC or similar industry a plus.

· Ability to life 50+ pounds

· Coachable, reliable, attention to detail, and be a team player

· Comfortable working on a ladder and a roof

· Must have a valid driver’s license and meet our driving standards
