Job description

Position Overview
The Internet Sales Firearm Broker is a specialized onsite role within Cash America (a FirstCash Company) responsible for creating, managing, and executing online firearm sales across multiple ecommerce platforms. This position requires strong attention to detail, compliance accuracy, product knowledge, and the ability to create an excellent customer experience through written communication and digital presentation.
Applicants must be comfortable working with firearms daily and have a general understanding of online and omnichannel sales practices.

Compensation
Hourly Pay: $13.00-$15.00 per hour
Commission: 3% on all online sales
Employees in this role typically earn an additional $8.00-$10.00 per hour in commission.
Commission is uncapped.

Key ResponsibilitiesEcommerce Sales & Product Management
  • Manage online listings for firearms across multiple ecommerce platforms.
  • Stage and prepare firearms for highquality product photography with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Write clear, compelling, and accurate product descriptions to maximize visibility and drive sales.
  • Maintain organized workflows to ensure listings, photos, and updates are posted in a timely manner.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Accurately record all serial numbers and firearm details in compliance with ATF regulations.
  • Complete and maintain all 4473 documentation with precision.
  • Follow all federal, state, and company policies regarding firearm handling and recordkeeping.
Customer Interaction
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from online shoppers.
  • Use proper spelling, punctuation, and professional communication in all written messages.
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance about firearm features, conditions, and purchase requirements.
Shipping & Fulfillment
  • Safely package and ship firearms to customers, ensuring secure and compliant delivery.
  • Verify receiving FFL information and follow proper transfer protocols.
  • Ensure each shipment meets standards for safety, protection, and customer satisfaction.
Performance Expectations
  • Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Consistently work toward achieving and surpassing sales goals.
Work Environment
This role requires daily handling, staging, photographing, and packaging of firearms. Applicants must be fully comfortable working with firearms in an operational, nonretail, ecommercedriven setting.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, push, pull, and perform physical tasks for extended periods (within legal guidelines).
  • Comfortable working with and around firearms; must be able to become firearms certified.
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Strong written communication and customerservice skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Proficient with computers, pointofsale systems, and standard office equipment
  • General understanding of ecommerce and omnichannel sales
