Job description

About Us:

360 Precision is a fast-growing firearms manufacturer with a newly completed state-of-the-art facility in Warminster, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We design, machine, and build high-quality precision firearms and accessories. Our commitment is simple: innovation, precision, and growth. We’re a small but ambitious business, and every hire has a direct impact on our success.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role responsible for product design, CNC programming, process development, and manufacturing support. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD/CAM software (prefer Fusion) multi-axis machining, and process optimization, with the ability to take a product from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and optimize CNC Lathe dual spindle and Swiss machines.
  • Generate CNC programs (using AutoDesk Fusion), setup sheets, and tool lists to support shop floor personnel.
  • Select proper tooling, cutting parameters, and work holding to maximize efficiency and precision.
  • Troubleshoot and edit programs; implement process improvements.
  • Develop and enforce procedures, best practices, and standard work instructions.
  • Support technical problem-solving and provide shop floor guidance.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC machines and controls.
  • Engage directly with ownership on creative manufacturing solutions.
  • Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
  • Perform process simulations and cost/time analysis to improve throughput.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality and productivity.
  • Other duties as assigned in a fast-paced small shop environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming and machining experience (Dual Spindle and Swiss Lathes preferred).
  • Strong understanding of G-code, macrocycle programming, and common CNC controls (Haas, Siemens, Fanuc).
  • Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar CAD/CAM software.
  • Proven experience in process engineering and process simulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD models, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and a detail-driven mindset.
  • Prior experience in a small business/job-shop environment is highly valued.
  • Bonus: Firearms industry experience or genuine interest in precision machining.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand, walk, and sit for long periods; regular bending and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity for keyboard use, operating CNC equipment, and handling parts.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds.
  • Vision requirements: close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequent communication with team members and, at times, customers.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $85,000 – $100,000 based on experience and expertise.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), including holidays and sick days.
  • Healthcare, Vision and Dental Coverage
  • Simple IRA retirement plan with employer match.
  • Opportunities to grow within a rapidly expanding company.
  • Hands-on exposure to the entire process—from design to finished product.
  • A small, dynamic team where your input matters and your impact is visible.
