Description
JOB TITLE: Cerakote General Laborer
JOB SUMMARY
The Cerakote General Laborer is responsible for preparation of parts and application of stencils for special order patterns. Other responsibilities include inventory, quality control processes, and keeping work area organized and clean. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast paced production environment, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 1 year of experience with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Sandblast/paint experience preferred
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Must have good attention to detail skills
  • Be familiar with safe operation of sandblast equipment and understanding of applicable OSHA laws and requirements
  • Mechanical skills

CORE DUTIES
  • Prepare aluminum parts in preparation for ceramic based paint application using various racking techniques
  • Apply stencils to various components
  • Clean grease, dirt, and abrasive media from parts using solvent, water, rags, and brushes
  • Disassemble and clean painting and sandblasting equipment using solvent, wire brushes, and dry cloth
  • Other duties as assigned

HOURS
  • 1st shift position
  • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday- overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
