Whether you're mastering equipment, optimizing workflows, or ensuring every order is handled with care, you play a key role in connecting customers to the sports and outdoor gear they love.

What You Will Work On

You help create a safe and secure environment across the distribution center by protecting people, assets, and daily operations. Your awareness and responsiveness ensure that alarms and incidents are handled quickly and professionally, creating a workplace where associates feel supported and protected. Your presence plays an important role in maintaining trust and safety across the facility.

In this role, you monitor activity at entry and exit points, screen associates as they leave, and maintain a visible loss prevention presence throughout the facility. You document incidents accurately and keep leadership informed so appropriate actions can be taken. You also build a strong understanding of operations and company policies, using that knowledge to identify and communicate potential risks.

Who You Will Work With

You work closely with distribution center associates, visitors, and leadership teams as a key point of contact for safety and security matters. Your ability to remain calm and communicate clearly builds trust across a wide range of interactions.

Collaboration is central to success in this role. You partner with loss prevention leadership and operations teams to ensure policies are followed and concerns are addressed promptly, contributing to a team environment that values awareness, accountability, and support.

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required

  • At least 1 year of related work experience

  • Strong communication skills including listening speaking and writing

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations

  • Maintains high attention to detail with accurate, consistent work

Work Style & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including varied or extra shifts to support business and peak season demands

  • Maintain a safe work environment by following company policies and reporting unsafe conditions

  • Work in non-climate-controlled conditions, including moderate heat/cold, dust, moisture, noise, and changing air quality (office, warehouse, and outdoor environment)

  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain in positions for extended periods

  • Perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing, running, and working at heights

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 60 lbs; push/pull heavy items as needed

  • Use manual dexterity and perform repetitive hand/keyboard tasks

  • Demonstrate visual acuity (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment)

  • Follow all company procedures, policies, and professional standards, including seasonal updates

  • Successfully complete required background check and substance screening

  • Must be able to operate distribution center (DC) equipment as needed and complete required training

  • For applicable roles: safely handle firearms and complete required training
