Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator serves as the internal marketing liaison for Shooters World's retail, range, and training operations. This role manages day-to-day marketing execution, maintains brand consistency across all touchpoints, coordinates with external marketing vendors and partners, and ensures seamless integration between various marketing initiatives and in-house needs. The Marketing Coordinator balances creative production with strategic coordination to support sales growth.


What You'll Do:

Marketing Coordination & Vendor Management

Serve as primary internal contact for marketing vendors, partners, and service providers

Provide vendors with product information, SKUs, pricing, sale dates, and promotional details needed for campaigns and creative projects

Review and approve all externally-produced marketing materials for brand consistency, accuracy, and compliance

Coordinate timing and integration of external campaigns with in-house marketing activities and store operations

Track project deliverables and ensure deadlines align with business needs

Participate in strategy sessions to align on goals, messaging, and campaign priorities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership

Develop and maintain annual marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across all sales, training, and events

Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all materials and channels

Ensure compliance with social media advertising policies related to firearms, ammunition, and accessories

Identify and pursue co-op advertising opportunities with manufacturer partners

Track and manage all co-op funds and marketing budgets across locations

In-House Graphic Design & Content Creation

Design creative materials including flyers, price tags, banners, in-store digital signage, event signage, and promotional graphics

Produce and edit photos and videos for social media, website, and in-store use

Maintain organized archives of all creative assets and marketing materials

Create supplementary graphics and copy to support marketing campaigns

Social Media & Online Presence Management

Manage day-to-day social media presence across all Shooters World platforms

Create and post organic content that complements paid advertising campaigns

Respond to customer comments, messages, and inquiries professionally and promptly

Develop and manage relationships with influencers and content creators

Capture real-time content showcasing daily operations, new products, staff, and customer experiences

Website Support & Digital Coordination

Coordinate website updates including event pages, class schedules, and promotional landing pages

Ensure website content remains accurate and current

Monitor website analytics using Google Analytics and share insights for optimization

Manage online class registration and membership sign-up integrations

Digital Marketing & Advertising Support

Support the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns (social media ads, Google Ads, email marketing, geofencing)

Provide campaign assets, product details, and messaging direction

Monitor campaign performance and ROI

Coordinate with vendors on ad creative, targeting, and optimization

Events & Community Relations

Plan and promote in-store events, influencer appearances, product demos, and training seminars

Collaborate with store teams to execute well-branded events

Create and distribute training calendars for all locations

Manage donation certificate program and track all charitable contributions

Develop relationships with local tourism organizations and community partners

Budgeting, Reporting & Compliance

Manage and track marketing budgets for all locations

Prepare monthly reports on campaign results, social media performance, website traffic, and ROI

Maintain documentation for co-op reimbursements and vendor invoices

Ensure all marketing activities comply with federal and state firearm advertising laws and social platform policies

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in firearms retail, shooting range, or outdoor recreation industries

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom)

Working knowledge of WordPress (or similar CMS), Google Analytics, and social media management platforms

Experience coordinating with external agencies, vendors, or contractors

Familiar with firearm industry marketing regulations, advertising restrictions, and platform limitations

Strong copywriting, communication, and creative design skills

Excellent organization, project coordination, and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.)

Knowledge of firearms, shooting sports, or outdoor recreation
