Job description

TREELINE SECURITY INC is looking for full-time Security Officers to work in San Francisco, CA. Security Officers will operate the day-to-day security operations while maintaining professionalism and elevated customer service. This listing is for an active patrol position patrolling on foot outside during all types of weather.

About the Role:

The Security Guard plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property within the assigned premises. This position involves vigilant monitoring of access points, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the facility, and promptly responding to any security breaches or emergencies. The Security Guard will utilize various technologies and communication tools to coordinate with team members and emergency services effectively. Additionally, the role requires proactive identification and mitigation of potential safety hazards, including fire risks and environmental controls. Ultimately, the Security Guard contributes to the overall protection of assets and the preservation of a secure workplace atmosphere.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 
  • Project an image of friendliness, presentability, and professionalism to all.
  • Patrol on foot outside engaging and de-escalating situations as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the property and public. 
  • Ensure that all work performed follows departmental operating practices/procedures. 
  • Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during an event or on site. 
  • Write incident reports and meet with security management to review procedures. 
  • Assist with evacuation during fires, storms, riots, and other emergencies. 
  • Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  
Required Qualifications 
  • Active CA Guard Card
  • 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in security preferred, minimum of two years
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to complete written reports and correspondence
  • Must be able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays, as necessary
  • Ability to de-escalate situations
  • Ability to patrol on foot outside in all types of weather
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience and ability to work with a wide range of demographics
All employment begins with 90 day probationary period during which only part time hours may be available.
