We also inspect various safety systems such as fire suppression, wet and dry sprinkler systems, special hazards, and offer fire alarm monitoring. Job Description
Wayman Fire Protection is hiring an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector. The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience for this role and NICET certifications in NFPA 25. Our Inspectors conduct fire alarm and sprinkler system inspections at various client/customer locations, while working with other inspectors in a team environment. This person will be given their own vehicle, laptop/iPad, and cell phone. A clean driving record and background check are required. Call us at 302-994-5757 extension 1041 or apply though this ad.
Essential Functions:
  • Perform daily inspection of existing fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
  • Maintain complete, timely and professional paperwork.
  • Communication with customers of system condition.
  • Document and report deficiencies.
  • Professional interaction with all internal and external customers.
  • Take ownership of your job and work
  • Work well with other Inspectors.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Be able to take directions.

Qualifications
  • Understanding of function and code related to fire alarm systems.
  • Understanding of function and code related to fire sprinkler systems.
  • 2+ years industry experience required.
  • NICET II in water-based Inspections preferred.
  • Back Flow Certification Preferred
  • DE certification preferred.
  • Excellent oral communications skills required.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
