Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Los Angeles office. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact projects and contribute to a mission-driven team that values technical excellence and client trust.
Some of the responsibilities of this position are:
  • To lead and manage a team of engineers and designers.
  • Plan and execute the preparation of structural calculations and documents for complex building projects, including civic, commercial and residential construction.
  • Prepare proposals and assist in the establishment and management of project budgets and schedules.
  • Create and maintain client relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or related field, Master's preferred.
  • At least 10 years of structural and earthquake engineering design experience.
  • Must be a licensed CA Professional Engineer; CA S.E. preferred.
  • In depth experience with design of vertical structures of commonly used materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood; single family home design experience desirable.
  • Proficiency in writing and oral presentations as well as possessing excellent communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in leading engineering team.
