Fire Sprinkler Repair Technician

Job Summary:

  • Ensures customers are serviced to the highest level of satisfaction through quality service and met expectations prior to leaving the jobsite
  • Conducts installation, modifications and repairs of fire sprinkler systems
  • Installation of new sprinkler systems, with an understanding of plan symbols and construction terminology
  • Identifies code violations and other non-compliant issues and recommends solutions
  • Knowledge in tenant improvement of existing buildings and office space build out to new layout; as well as experience in relocation and adding sprinklers to new office layout
  • Ability to perform ladder work and scissor lifting
  • Interacts professionally with customers, building engineers, property managers, and acts as an efficient team member within the department
  • Uses a company provided service vehicle for work (if applicable) and keeps it well maintained and supplied with all parts, tools, and equipment; keeps the vehicle clean and organized with a complete inventory of tools and supplies
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and effectively at all levels of the FSF organization
  • Helps to identify continuous improvement solutions to promote efficiency
  • Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices, specifically CAL OSHA and safety measures related to work
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Experience/Training/Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1- 3 years of experience (open to train)
  • Knowledge of NFPA13, 25, and CA Fire Code
  • Valid Cal Fire Fitter Certification preferred; candidates without certification will be considered if they are able and willing to obtain certification.

Job Type:

  • Full-time, on-site, Monday - Friday
  • 40 hours a week
  • Compensation: DOE based on experience and qualifications
