Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire Protection Designer located in Corona, CA. The Fire Protection Designer will be responsible for creating detailed fire protection system designs and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal codes. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing CAD drawings and calculations, coordinating with project managers and engineers, reviewing project requirements, and assisting in system layout and material selection. The role also entails collaborating with contractors, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Revit / AutoSPRINK / AutoCAD software and other design tools for creating fire protection system plans
  • Strong understanding of building codes, fire protection standards, and system design principles
