Fire Protection Inspector Position The Fire System Inspector's duties include testing and inspection of fire sprinkler systems, backflow systems, and fire alarm systems. We have a need for self-motivated, customer service-oriented Inspectors with strong written and verbal communication skills. The Inspector will provide accurate and detailed inspections reports with all proper documentation on improvements and complications. Must be Nicet Level II or Higher. This position has a salary range of $35.00 - $55.00 per hour depending on experience and licenses. Job Responsibilities
  • Performance of daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various sized fire alarm panels, fire sprinkler systems, and backflow systems.
  • Service and test all systems.
  • Complete electronic and/or handwritten inspection reports.
  • Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the scheduling and completion of assigned duties.
  • Ability to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a licensed inspector in the fire protection industry
  • NICET level II or higher, preferred
  • Understand NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and building and fire codes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
  • Valid driver's license; in accordance with company policy required.
  • Able to pass a post-offer drug test and background check.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Regular bending, reaching, climbing, and walking
