Job description

As a Technical Field Supervisor at Delta Fire Equipment, Inc., you are responsible for leading field operations, particularly in the areas of fire alarm and access control systems. This full-time, exempt role blends hands-on technical work with leadership and mentoring responsibilities. You serve as a key liaison between field technicians and project management, ensuring that work is executed to a high standard of quality, safety, and code compliance.

Key Duties Include:

  • Installing, troubleshooting, and servicing fire alarm and access control systems.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians.
  • Coordinating service execution and responding to complex field issues.
  • Identifying and initiating upsell opportunities for system upgrades and enhancements.

Systems Involved:

  • Addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
  • Detection, notification, and communication devices
  • Access control panels, readers, electrified door hardware

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: Paid biweekly
  • After-Hours Field Response Pay: $250 per qualifying event
  • Annual Upsell Bonus: 3% of net profit on eligible material sales
  • Business Phone Stipend: $75/month
  • Company Laptop: Provided
  • Company Vehicle or Mileage Reimbursement: Includes fuel reimbursement for company vehicle
